Hi,
I'm Penny Haynes, the owner and designer
of the Commercial Creation Center.
The Commercial
Creation Center (CCC) was born out of years of teaching people how to
create audio and video, especially for podcasting purposes. I
had been giving away free audio recording and mixing software and teaching
people how to create professional sounding audios with it. Then I moved
into digital video production classes and Camtasia courses.
However,
I realized that most of my students were either not putting the classes
to use, or not quite getting the hang of it. I had one student
tell me that she dreaded opening Camtasia because of how complicated it
was. Another student, after seeing the Commercial Creation Center, said
it would be so much nicer to have one program do everything (like the
CCC), instead of having to go from software to software whenever he wanted
to create something. One particularly techno-phobic client tried it out
and confided that she had spent hours playing with it, it was so much
fun! This coming from someone who dreaded using technology!
So, recognizing
the specific areas where my students had struggled, I decided
to simplify and automate the processes within a single software that would
"do it all." It doesn't have all the "bells and whistles"
of fancy, expensive media programs. Instead, it gives the user the basics
of what they need, and makes it so simple, ANYONE (and I do mean anyone!)
can use it and be creating content IMMEDIATELY.
Tested on
people like my mother, husband and other similar internet novices,
we found that we had met a need for simple but very versatile functionality
that allowed anyone to create multimedia content for viral self-promotion
or for premium products. Combined with the Online
Community Magazines platform, which hosts, posts and syndicates audio
and video, it is a powerful tool that allows everyday entrepreneurs to
promote their businesses online with multimedia.
And if you'd like
